North Country Recovery Oriented Policing Model (ROPM)

Do you know the Recovery Oriented Policing Models (ROPMs) in the North Country? Currently, NCHC’s Wellness And Recovery Model (WARM) program works with the Littleton and Northumberland Police to facilitate each of their Department’s ROPM programs, which act as an access point to recovery from Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

ROPM Officers engaging with the community offer assistance and support from a recovery coach. With a trained recovery coach on staff at the police department, ROPMs help clients and families by connecting them to SUD treatment, housing, food, relapse prevention, recovery wellness planning, and more.
