NHIP

The primary goal of the Immunization Initiative is to maximize the number of North Country residents who receive immunizations against vaccine-preventable disease as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the New Hampshire Immunization Program. The Immunization Program Coordinator works within the region of Coos and Northern Grafton counties with healthcare providers, school districts, businesses and communities. Education sessions about childhood and adult vaccines are scheduled throughout the region to reach the goal of increasing the numbers of vaccines that are received by the people of the North Country. The Immunization Program Coordinator also works with the All Health Hazard Region #1 Director and other emergency preparedness partners in Emergency Preparedness and Response by participating in trainings and mass vaccination clinics when needed.
